How can I update my smartphone software to the latest version?

- Operating System: Microsoft Windows XP 32-bit, with Service Pack 2 installed or newer, Windows Vista or Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit).
- Software: Microsoft.NET framework 2.0 Service Pack 2 or newer.
Updating the software of your Android smartphone:
- Visit the Download section of Acer support website.
- Enter your model name, and select your product from the list of suggested models.
- Select the OS tab and click the orange icon to download the latest OS version.
- Click Save and select where you want to download the file.
- Right-click the downloaded ZIP-file and then click Extract All Files. Double-click the folder that has the same name as the downloaded file.
- Make sure your smartphone is disconnected from the computer.
- Double-click the file setup.exe. Follow the on-screen instructions to install the updated software on your PC. Once the installation is complete, the Software Upgrade Utility will automatically start.
- Connect the smartphone to the computer using the USB Sync cable. Once the smartphone has been detected, the current installed software on the phone will display in the Software Upgrade Utility. Click Next to start the upgrade.
- When the installation is complete, click Finish, and disconnect the smartphone from the computer.
